oh ok. jus like me! and some others. started on G6P and went off to FP. im a Mod there. fear my power!! Very Happy so hopefully, jus maybe, you will all help me out in my quest for performance mods? i am curious about one thing tho...why, in the G6 world, is the 2.4L somewhat impossible to mod for performance and yet really easy in the Cobalt world? that is what it seems or seemed like.

could be there isnt a high demand from the G6 community for support with the 2.4 le5 ecotec.....is it still the le5 like the cobalt?

le5 is the only 2.4 eco that I know of.

I have a malibu with the 2.4 eco which is basically the same platform as the g6. Since its not a performance oriented car theres not a lot of support. I can set you up with a trifecta tune for the car which will help wake it up a bit.

agreed but sometimes companies have denied the demand.

i jus wonder why the products arent cross marketed into other cars if they have the same engine. G6, G5, Solstice, Malibu, Cobalt, HHR, 9-3 (i think). it would be better for everyone. so a few questions about the Trifecta tune. its for the 2.4L Ecotec? what is the cost? what am i getting for the price? when, where, how long, type? and should i continue this in the Chat It Up section now?

Looks like you need to take a look at performance auto works, they have a supercharger for the 2.4l.

well things like intakes and exhaust systems will vary from car to car regardless if they share the same motor. as far as tuning goes it should be around 210 and it would be at least a few hours as long as everything goes smoothly. you should expect a decent bump in power but it wont be anything crazy. you can email me. mofofernando@aol.com
