my name is Fernando...im an automotive technician with ASE certs
when i first got involved with ecotecs it was with my 2005 cobalt ls in arrival blue that i purchased march 30th 2005....well i turbo'd it early 2008 i think it was....with a gt22....about a year later after the turbo grenaded itself i upgraded to a gt2871r....but due to maintenance costs and not having the time to dedicate to keep sancha (the cobalt) in good condition i had to trade her in. She will always have a special place in my heart...lots of memories in that car...as well as blood shed...lol
i know drive a 2008 Chevy HHR SS 2.0 turbocharged black on black...as if u guys did not know that it was turbo'd...lol. well i barely made my first payment on it yesterday and so far i have a K&N drop in filter and a muffler delete and some bowtie decals...no pictures yet but i will update as time goes by. Im very knowledgeable about the internals of these engines if you have any questions let me know...ive torn these engines down many many many times...too many to actually remember. with that being said i have some plans for the Death Sled coming up...as soon more money comes up...its a getting a tune and most likely a bigger FMIC and some charge piping...and a downpipe
i almost forgot we also have a 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0 turbo...for some reason i bought an aveo for the wife...and she thought it was cute...well i drove it one day and was going up the hill going south on the 15 on the hill right past temecula and it would not go past 60mph...i turned around right there and traded it for this beautiful Saab which she calls Sam and i call Sally...i found a speeding ticket in there and the last owners name was Sally doing 65 in a 30...lol
